Half my advertising is wasted, I just don’t know which half.

John Wanamaker, may not be famous to you, but in the advertising business his quote is still talked about today: “Half my advertising is wasted, I just don’t know which half.”

With all of the new tools that are out there, that allow us online digital people to combine Data and Media, and decouple Data and Media – we now have a very good chance at answering John Wanamaker’s now famous quote. We are closer than ever at figuring out which half works best.
