I’m Speaking at Engage 2010 in New Orleans

by Scott Hoffman on January 22, 2010

I’m heading down to New Orleans to speak at the 2010 Engage conference on Feb 2nd. Along with eating some gumbo & crawfish, seeing some good live jazz, I will also be speaking along side some of the smartest people I know including; keynote Stephen Baker (listen to an interview I had with Steven)

Steven Baker on Scott’s Social Media Remix Show

Others include, Eric Rodenbeck, Paul Berry, Alan Citron, Jennifer Zeszut, Steven Woods, Inga Broerman, John Lovett, Seth Dellaire, Sean Power, Sam Yagan, Amber Naslund, Doug Karr, Anton Konikoff, and Rives.

I’m super psyched, because I will get to share some of my thoughts on a topic that is near and dear to my heart, how to determine consumer intent within social media. I will be doing it in the form of a sprint, which are mini-presentations inspired by Ignite’s style presentation – — my sprint is a quick, and I dare say brilliant, overview of the importance of the Status Update and why it is the window to a consumers soul.

Hat Tip to Jascha Kaykas-Wolff of Webtrends who both invited and encouraged me to participate. Thanks for all your support and hospitality.
