Casey, when I was speaking with Hue, I was thinking about your project that you presented on Monday night at ignite 2.0…sometimes timing is everything. Your Star Wars project may in fact prove to be extremely useful in modern film making or story telling. Keep rocking!

This is an example not only of what we discussed in terms of new tools, but of the underlying truth that we have no idea what “new media” really means. This isn't just a remake – this is a kind of commentary.

Literary criticism is unique in that people use the same medium (writing) to evaluate the subject (writing) as the subject. In that way, this is a kind of film criticism (as opposed to film grading, which is what most “critics” do.) Each segment will reflect an internalization and transformation of the original.
