Anyone who knows me, knows that I love podcasts, and my favorite is Buzz Out Loud. CNet/CBS does a great job with the podcast, and the Tom Merrit and Rafe Needleman “why isn’t Madison avenue embracing the internet” rants are the best parts…maybe it is because I wholeheartedly agree with them.
I excepted a minute of one of those rants (below is the audio) to share. At about :30 seconds in Tom says:
They (Madison Avenue) are wanting to cheap out on the internet, they will pay crazy amounts of money for a potential ineffective ad in a magazine, which they don’t even know how many people really look at, but they won’t pay money for the internet.
